Chile launch in Sala Vitra
ES Salmon Leather had the pleasure to have its official launch party in Chile at Sala Vitra, Santiago de Chile in July 2010.
Vitra, the world renowned furniture company dedicated to developing healthy, intelligent, inspiring and durable solutions for the office, the home and for public spaces, came across ES Salmon Leather and was instantly thrilled by its potential. It was also amazed by the leathers properties and especially the sustainable nature of the leather. Which keeps in line with Vitra’s view on sustainabilty.
Winners of InovaChile – Chilean Government Prize
On the 13th of July 2010, ES Salmon Leather won the Government Award from InnovaChile for the most innovative young start-up company. ES Salmon Leather competed with over 104 other companies to clinch the prize of approximately U$4000 dollars. ES are committed to use this money for further research in improving their ecological tanning processes.
